Hallo all :
Pleased to introduce - New guy Desert S W USA
I could not pass up pulling on OM602 Turbo from an insurance totaled '92 300D- turbo- have heard much of these engines great reputation - when I came across this side swiped /wrecked Merc - I knew to grab the engine post haste . Moteur looks to be well maintained - no major leaks as I can see - Ip is clean - with the exception of 2 missing injectors - I feel I lucked out -
instru clocks missing so dunno how many miles on engine
thinking I may swap this into a Land Cruiser - dunno yet
I do have sitting in my garage an OM602 non turbo I pulled - Think to try and sell that and keep the turbo
did Merc offer FSM ( Factory Service Manual ) for this engine - or must one purchase an FSM for the W124 /300D?
