how to rotate 617 turbo - larsalan - 01-29-2011
Anybody have some pictures? I want to rotate the turbo so I can drill/tap threads for a water injection nozzle while controlling where all that swarf goes.

To rotate the compressor housing you need to slacken of the retaining bolts then tap lightly on housing to free it from backing plate and rotate at will. Good luck!

You need to entirely remove the part you're wanting to drill.
