AW IC with a thin other-model radiator in front of main radiator? - aaa - 02-09-2011 This is a w124. I've given up on AA intercoolers. Seems like the only choices are sacrifice the condenser or have a long one hanging under the bumper. So I got to thinking about AW. Of course you still need to radiate the heat somewhere with those as well. It's almost the same problem I think. So I was looking at the tiny space between the fan and the radiator on a 603. No way for an AA intercooler to fit there of course, but it looks like I can squeeze in a skinny honda radiator there. Then it can be hooked up to an AW IC. Thoughts? But I deleted my AC so I will be leaving everything stock looking, except when I had to move my rad forward. A pair of 5/8" rubber hoses that don't care about turns are far easier to route than two 2.5" aluminum tubes that need to be straight as possible. |
