OM617 IP - cjcosta - 03-09-2011 Hello everyone, I am almost finnishing a swap in my w460. The motor is a 617A (617952) Anyone have the vacuum connections and electrical valves (temp oil pressure etc) scheme? Best Regards, Carlos RE: OM617 IP - aaa - 03-09-2011 What kind of swap? The manual trans vacuum connections are quite few. What did it have before? RE: OM617 IP - cjcosta - 03-10-2011 Manual trans swap Well the motor is running, try and error was the solution. Thanks aaa. Now i need some hel with the gauges, i intend to install: Oil pressure, rpm, water temp and turbo press. Best Regards, Carlos RE: OM617 IP - aaa - 03-10-2011 Use the same ones from before? There's not much to wire. Oil pressure was a hose with oil in it to the instrument cluster, is that what it used before? Temperature was one wire, the sensor is next to the glowplugs. Turbo pressure is something you create yourself. RE: OM617 IP - cjcosta - 03-14-2011 I am with a small problem in the new engine. After a few hours resting the motor runs without power for a minute or two, after that the power comes back. I think its possible the injection system is not ok (maybe a leak), i have changed the manual pump for the one in the old motor and i suspect a part is missing ( a small plastic red/black pin ). Anyone have a scheme of the manual vacuum pump? RE: OM617 IP - winmutt - 03-17-2011 I do not have a schematic but its pretty easy to rebuild and the rebuild kit is cheap. It sounds more like you have air in the system? |
