NHC-250 Cummins - Captain America - 03-25-2011
Has any of you ever played with one? I want to get a M813A1 5 ton and they come with that motor. I heard an HX50 is a good match for the 855 cubic inch beast...

I think it's similar to a n14 or early big cam 400.

Yeah closer to the 400, except the 250 is a small cam, whatever that means.

Iirc those pumps are easy to adjust but they are still a dog even after a turbo.
Your looking at big $ for everything and plus a cdl (commercial drivers license) to drive it. In California it's double points, no traffic school and .04 bac if you get a ticket.
FYI uncovered offroad lights is a moving violation here.

I was so close to buying a 66 Unimog with a Benz 280 duel carb motor swapped in it and a rebuilt transmission with a radio box converted camper with a pop up top from a VW camper van for $6500
I wanted it so much! but it sold before I had cash in hand
