This is a square, reinforced plate that allows you to block off the SLS bore on W123 617 wagon heads and and certain gas engines as found on the 560SEL etc..

There isn't a factory plate. The "factory" SLS-delete is a different head casting.

Sorry, I don't have EPC... nor do I really care. This does not have an MB logo on it.... but there must be some parts that don't have numbers.
There were a few gas models where the SLS was optional and rather than making an entirely different head casting, they put this on. I have only seen it a few times, so I grabbed it.... I have a spare wagon head now and thought it would be good to hold on to.
