seems like a decent handful of us are within a reasonable driving distance of each other. i know that i'm within an hour of garage, dieselboy, captain america, and i think rudolph and delivery valve are in southern california as well?
we need to have some kind of meetup! brainstorm ways to outdo the fins, etc.

I have the time and enough brains to accomplish most stuff.

With these brakes, the power steering issue, 3iffy tires, and no insurance its not smart for me to drive it that far

No insurance is pretty crazy, especially for cars' this old being so cheap to insure. 300D50 is right, they catch you with no insurance or out of date plates in CNY, they jail you until mid January, then drop you out in the middle of lake Ontario naked with a couple of pool noodles for flotation.
You make it back, all you have to do is pay the fine.
