Everything was hydraulic to remove the big bolts we used a stud stretcher it would screw on and hydraulically stretch the stud to when we could spin the nut freely. Edit: that connecting by itself weighs 1640lbs the piston was another 1000lbs iirc RE: 3000+ hp diesel - yankneck696 - 04-10-2011 I did a dry ice blasting on rod bearings about that size about 7 years ago.
