recommend unclogging wiper sprayer - larsalan - 06-27-2011 I just swapped out some dead shock absorbers on my front end. Going to hang out with a friend tomorrow and do the rear. While we work on that what could I do to unclog my wiper sprayers? New ones will probably end up costing like $20-30 to get shipped and all. I checked the pump with the sprayers unhooked and it works fine. Any household chemical that might open them up? vinegar? Oil? no gas, right? RE: recommend unclogging wiper sprayer - led-panzer - 06-27-2011 Do you have access to compressed air? Worth a try. RE: recommend unclogging wiper sprayer - larsalan - 06-27-2011 That would be good but I don't. Maybe I could take them to a shop and have them blow them out. I have some pb blaster maybe that will help. RE: recommend unclogging wiper sprayer - dieselboy - 06-27-2011 I use a small piece of stainless lock wire to break the crud loose then I blow through it with air. I wonder if something like CLR would work. RE: recommend unclogging wiper sprayer - larsalan - 06-27-2011 Like from a bicycle's brake cable. Just frayed steel. Good idea, I have used that or a needle on lawn mower carbs. CLR sounds like just the thing but I don't have any. |
