Diesels on the Mountain Next weekend - Now trucks ONLY - 98taco3 - 08-01-2011
Anyone else going? Im thinking about running the 123 down the strip and see what she can do. Also debating taking it to ATS on Saturday to throw it up on the dyno and get some numbers. Obviously nothing spectacular but will be funny to be the only Mercedes diesel with all the trucks around!
Just got off the phone with Bandimere. They had only 35 people participate in Diesels on the Mountain last year so that event has been canceled. All that is going on is ATS Truck Fest and only trucks are allowed to participate now. What a load of bullshit! Oh well i guess ill have to hit up a test and tune now...

with me not living anywhere near there i dont think ill be going lol. but it sounds like a good time. you may even get alot of intrest being the only merc diesel around there.

I raced my 240d turbo there a few years ago they let us do the qualifier runs but not the finial race

just called into Bandimere to get the full scoop on running the car down there. ATS told me trucks only and to talk to the drag strip. Hope to hear back soon.
