Its a 4 speed manual and i currently run it on WVO Ill post pictures of my car tomorrow when its not dark or rainy out. My next project on the car is to add a turbo to it thanks with the help from a PM session between me and willbhere4u . RE: New Member Greetings! - larsalan - 09-28-2011 Don't cook it. No oil squirters on those 240d pistons. What kinda turbo do you have lined up? RE: New Member Greetings! - Purplecomputer - 09-29-2011 (09-28-2011, 09:27 PM)larsalan Don't cook it. No oil squirters on those 240d pistons. I am well aware of that, which is why it was advised to keep it under 10psi. Im not sure I was advised to modify the intake and exhaust manifolds from a 617 and use a turbo from a 300. I am planning to swap out the engines but that wont be until the summer time when im off from school RE: New Member Greetings! - larsalan - 09-29-2011 Alright, there is a sticky thread here called like 'turbo information' or some such. There are mainly 2 turbos that come with a om617. Prolly want the smaller/faster spooling of the two. and an intercooler? Im sure i could fasten a small intercooler to the system RE: New Member Greetings! - larsalan - 09-30-2011 supposed to keep the intake mani cooler and that's where it all begins. Prolly add like $2-300 to the project. |
