I still see the stars just above peoples avatars, if they have an avatar.
I don't see any pictures from hosting sites from here at work. But that's an entirely different issue.

I'd say a caching problem on your work box. Try clearing the cache to see if it's fixed. Also, what browser are you using?

I'm running Firefox clearing the history fixed it
