valve springs - bad3gakk - 11-15-2011
Hi guys!
I've seen a few projects here and there, with om605/6 engines with an abnormal high rev rpm.. jeemu's YouTube video f.eks with 7000+ rpm on a 605.. is it necessary to replace valve springs to obtain 7000+ rpm or is the IP the only limit?
If I need to replace valve springs, any suggestions from where I can get suitable replacements to my 605?

I'm pretty sure it's more then springs. Most likely the whole head has to have upgraded valve components aswell as the IP.

Yea the govoner weight in the injection pump needs to be modifyed to rev that high. But yea youll need highly upgraded lifters

Also, you need better rods & lower end components.
