home made drip tool - larsalan - 11-27-2011

Can you make your own drip tool? I have a set of hard lines for an om617. I was hoping I could just bend/cut one and make the tool.

Yeah, thanks. I am just reading a long winded discussion about it at pp.
Real problem has been reaching one of these 3 bolts that's hidden right behind this '85 electronic dodad.
I think I need to get one of these u-joint extensions for my socket. I have tried like 3 or 4 times to reach at it with different straight extensions and always leave without success.

does it have to be a particular one of the five hard lines that gets cut?

Anyone will do.  I don't use a cut line I just undo the first injector and time the drips from there.  Works like a charm.
