After Mantaheads Challange, I was thinking, Why not build a OM605 that is a little stronger than his?
After some thinking and planning of the winter, I bought this -96 C250td.
It´s a automatic , 350000 km of running.
It came with a lot of faults, I payed 1000 euro for it.
The problems where ( are )
Engine wont start, No big deal for me, after 1 hour it runs BUT
Only on 4 cylinders on low idle when hot, On load it works OK No big deal for me, som nonauthorized has been into the pump.
Fan / Clima dont work, a nice short circuit in the electrical system, #12 fuse blows alla the time. No big deal for me, I use the short circuit to lead me to the fault. It was the clima ECU that was wrong. 2 hours there and a used one from the scrapyard for 50 euro.
Some rats or mouse had a house in the airfilterbox, also the have been eating the wire to the diagnostic, that is fixed now.
The car cant be locked, no vaccum in the system, also then the turbo dont charge, No big deal that either. Working on it.
Front right wheelbearing is worn out, new one is ordered.
The plan is to get the car in order, fix it and get it to pass the swedish
vehicle inspection and after that take it to pieces.

Engine was tested with 7,5mm superpump, worked fine, but I put the EDC pump back and sold the car, Didn´t have time for it.
