OM602 and OM603 Injector Compatability - BSharp - 01-17-2012
Anyone know if an 87 OM602 uses the same injector as an 87 OM603? I am needing to replace an injector on my 602 and I am finding conflicting reports if they are the same. I have access to an 87 603 but I would like to know if they are the same.

I really don't know, but if I assume the injection pumps are named pes 55m5 and 55m6, they do the same give or take a cylinder&element, then the injectors should in theory be the same... However, I've heard rumours of different part numbers on injectors on basically identical engines, so if I were you, I'd replace all 5 injectors with 5 from the 603 engine, just to be sure...

do you have the turbo 2.9 engine , or the N/A 2,9 ??
