Cummins 12V turbo swap - MERCEDES-BENZ - 02-15-2012
Has any one swaped a 12V cummins turbo which is the Hy35 i believe onto a OM617.952 or will it even work? i was thinking about doing this to a 300SD or twin turboing it using the stock turbo and the Hy35 both set ups would use a intercooler.

Twin turbo is hard to do since there are 5 cylinders so it doesn't divide up very well, as for sequential/compound turbo setups

It seems a little overkill to me, I would rather have a nice vnt setup and call it done lol

The hy35 is from a 24v cummins.

In the dodge pickup,
Early 12V with rotary pump H1C with 18cm hsg no wastegate
12V linepump if I rmember correctly is HX35 with internal wastegate 12cm hsg
