I started last summer, bought an old taxi (93' E250D) for a few quidz from a friend.. 600000km on the meter, and pretty shabby looks, but good technically

Lost my drivers license for a few months, and ofcource i drive a truck for a living.. Needless to say, i had time......lots of it, so i made my own exhaust manifold

Runners aint 100% equal length, but pretty close to, anyway better than an stock 605 manifold

KKK k27-2 hangin there... made 3bars+ in my friends 7mm powered 603, so it should do a decent job here when my IP gets sodomized with 7,5mm elements and 7krpm limit

8x38x55cm i think it was... 3" piping.. Couldnt have been a single mm bigger

Test.. It looks shabby... its a budget build! But it did work
After making a test mount, i cracked my home made oil T line for turbo...
Ofcourse it broke after the oil pressure sensor, so i couldnt notice it before the disaster had struck... needless to say, I'm in the middle of an engine change in these days

WRONG xDThe new engine should have been up and running by now, buuuuuuut my daughter and her mother seems to attract some of my attention, needless to say, every day isnt as effective as planned
Started it yesterday, so mounted almost everything, and will put in car tomorrow
Plans:
New oil lines for turbo
Injection Pump rebuildt by dieselmeken
Grind the engine flange of the exhaust manifold
Make room for Wastegate
Stiffer suspension
Bushings
Better and more suspension bars
Make new intake manifold
Compound turbo setup

When I saw the subject of your thread, my first thought was: what are you northern part Norwegians doing to your mercedeses
But then I agreed with willbhere4u, you probably used the the wrong wordNice car btw. It will be interesting to see if the engine will be as strong as Mantahead`s 605, or maybe even stronger with that cool manifold?
PS: I broke a N/A 617 once when the home made oil line to the turbo broke. After that I started to make them from a steel tube with flanges. No more problems

You're right Erling66 , nordnorske glosa oversatt her
The lack of experience in the field, made me believe i had none other option, and since the runners are 48,3mm, it gets a bit narrow
If i'd know better, i'd make it in 43mm
This way i figured I could place a smaller turbo on the manifold, and place a bigger one below&behind too
All these ideas....hmmm

Where I'm from (northern norway), ass fucking can be referred to a lot of things
Swearing/cursing/genital talk is sort of a cultural normality So in my language, doubling the horsepower, twice or maybe tree times, of an old merc diesel engine, ass raping would probably be an even more correct way to describe it
