WTB W123/240d transmission mount - Oil Burner - 04-03-2012
WTB W123 rear cross member transmission mount from 240d automatic. I need this part ASAP getting ready to move and need this part to get car to be a roller!

Still need help finding a transmission mount I am looking for one that bolts only to the 2nd holes from the firewall anyone got one of these need ASAP. If it wasn't already guessed I am desperate for this part please help "just passin through"is trying but has had no luck finding anyone got one of these lying around?

What Oil Burner thinks he needs, is a 240D automatic transmission mounting crossmember. All six W123 sedans (three 300D's and three 240D's) in my local yards have the crossmember missing. I found a 280CE crossmember, but that bolts only to the second and third holes and O.B. already has one of those and it doesn't work for what he is trying to do. He needs a crossmember that extends back from the firewall to the first of the three bolt holes.

Are we looking for the one that only used two mounting bolts, and not four?
If so I know of about three at my local PaP....

I have the 2 bolt for the mounting holes all the way forward I have 2 crossmembers that mount to the last 4 bolt holes I need the one that is right in the middle Only

??? So, are you saying you need a crossmember that bolts to the *second* (middle) frame hole *only*?

I will measure the distance across the mounting holes tomorow and post but considering I have to move back east in less than 2 weeks and this car is going on a trailer out there I think I will just make a hard mount until I find one. Thanks for the help guys
