Rear hydraulic system - Robert_UAH - 04-17-2012 What is required to convert from the rear hydraulic suspension on a W123? RE: Rear hydraulic system - Simpler=Better - 04-17-2012 You will need to weld in some kind of spring perches. I don't know if the SLS has springs or not from the factory RE: Rear hydraulic system - aaa - 04-17-2012 You need replacement springs and shocks. The stock springs will sag without the hydraulics supporting them. http://slsconversion.com/ RE: Rear hydraulic system - Robert_UAH - 04-19-2012 So I just need some springs and Bilstein HD shocks. No need for different spring perches or anything? RE: Rear hydraulic system - propigskinSLS - 06-05-2012 (04-19-2012, 08:58 AM)Robert_UAH So I just need some springs and Bilstein HD shocks. No need for different spring perches or anything? No spring purch change or modifications required: You can order my springs at www.slsconversion.com I also sell stock type shocks that bolt right in and a sls pump block off plate. You can use Bilstein shocks also off a w123 300D sedan that bolt right in if you want the best shocks.... Thanks, Erik |
