Fuel Pressure Relief Valve - kamel - 01-30-2009 I finally got around to doing this to mine in addition to stretching the pressure relief spring to 28mm. I'm amazed how much a power increase this made. Too bad the trans can't take it. Time for the 4spd swap! No problem, just increase the modulating pressure (T-pin on driver side of the tranny). Tom RE: Turning the delivery valve holder - kamel - 01-31-2009 I can only give it 1/4 throttle before it slips. I used to be able to floor it everywhere prior to adjustments, unless it was on a hill. Is there anychance the slipping could be from a vacuum leak? Do a search for modulator tranny. On the driver side there is the (green) modulator. Remove the rubber cap, pull out the T-metal thing and turn it. Do a search for the direction. Even better check the modulator pressure at the check port to know where you are. Do it immediately, don't let it slip, this will eat up your clutches within short time. RE: Turning the delivery valve holder - kamel - 02-02-2009 That's what it's called? Still makes a difference. I did the stretch before the dv holders so I could see what each of them did. The DV holders definately made more of a power increase, but the spring made it bog down less on hills and more midrange power. The holders made more power all accross the board! RE: Fuel Pressure Relief Valve - ForcedInduction - 12-28-2009 Bump for Benzworld PM. The relief valve is #13 in the picture. |
