A few mechanical problems - Insane190d - 12-01-2012

First off my RPM tac doesnt work....how do i fix

Second, when i park up a slight hill with a quarter tank or less for a while it doesnt start, must be air getting in fuel whats causing that??

Third, while gear changing the car hops alot more than should, i noticed the carrier bearing in center of drive shaft is bad.....Would this be the problem?? What else to look for that may cause that?

Thanks Matt

Well... assuming this is a 190d.

1 - check your OVP relay
2 - check your delivery valve o-rings (are they leaking fuel)
3 - check your vacuum system, sticking a gauge on it should yield 14 psi

(12-01-2012, 07:34 PM)aaa Ok ill check all that, it is a 190d and the D/V's do leak a little fuel.

The tack does bounce around every now and then

Well see if it bounces when you poke at the ovp relay. Sometimes the contacts are corroded, or sometimes the relay itself is bad.
