I decided to buy a '95 300 Diesel. I'm not sure what mods I'm going to do. I want a set of C43 17inch AMG Monoblocks, though. Any ideas as to where I can find a set of monoblocks? Or maybe the 18ich E55s would be better. Also another question--the car spent its life at 1,000 ft altitude. I live at 5,300 ft. Do I need to adjust the pump or anything else? I think I'm going to do it Winmutt style and do the suspension, brakes and wheels first, then motor and tranny. I plan to read up to see if I can do an E55 tranny somehow.

I don't think any adjustment will be needed because of the altitude. That said I'm sure it couldn't hurt

What exactly would I adjust?
