Market for custom 617 manifolds - Simpler=Better - 03-12-2013 What would you kids pay for a nice tubular 617 exhaust manifold? How about a custom intake manifold? RE: Market for custom 617 manifolds - lgreeley83 - 03-12-2013 You building? I think so many want non egr a sale would happen quick. I don't know where to even guess at price. RE: Market for custom 617 manifolds - Simpler=Better - 03-12-2013 Yeah that's the hard part to figure out. Non egr manifolds go for around $100, and w115 intakes for $200, so that's a rough starting point. I might make one up if I get bored one day in a few years RE: Market for custom 617 manifolds - lgreeley83 - 03-12-2013 (for ideas, if you don't have enough) I like these style intakes. Simple tubes and a box. Simple=better RE: Market for custom 617 manifolds - willbhere4u - 03-12-2013 I need a non EGR exhaust manifold for around $100 I would do 250-300 for a tubular exhaust manifold if it was well built RE: Market for custom 617 manifolds - w123love - 03-12-2013 300 would be a good start. Needs to be shiny though RE: Market for custom 617 manifolds - kmaser - 03-12-2013 For $300 I would take one, I have been talking to KKD about getting one so when do they ship ) RE: Market for custom 617 manifolds - Simpler=Better - 03-13-2013 I've been looking into tubing for a plain W115 style + 6" of runner, it looks like around $120 for tubing, plus the flange and plenum. I'm seeing like $22 for 180° 2"ID bends-does anybody know a cheap place to get aluminum 180's ? (03-12-2013, 02:32 PM)lgreeley83 (for ideas, if you don't have enough) Yup, that's the style I'm thinking of. Something that wraps up and out, and ends near the top of the valve cover-but not too tight, so you can still do valve adjustments. A fancy equal length long runner would be big bucks, and not really worth it-from what I've read a stock head can only flow ~220CFM RE: Market for custom 617 manifolds - 83300d - 03-14-2013 I would be interested for sure. Hacking up non egr manifolds while waiting for a 115 style would come to an end! |
