FS/FT 617 integrated A/W intake for W115 intake - kmaser - 03-23-2013 I bought this from a forum member quite a while ago and used it with success for a year but I am now adding a snorkel and can't fit the air box I want to run with this in my engine bay so would like to sell for $175 +shipping or trade for W115 manifold. Pics stolen from former for sale ad, it has been cleaned up since RE: FS/FT 617 integrated A/W intake for W115 intake - MFSuper90 - 03-23-2013 Any chance of getting some new pics of it? And did you plumb it straight into your cooling system or keep it self contained? RE: FS/FT 617 integrated A/W intake for W115 intake - kmaser - 03-23-2013 I will try to post some pics once I'm back on my laptop, for now I can email some if wanted. I kept it self contained with a separate rad and Bosch intercooler pump from a mustang. I kept it self contained with a separate rad and Bosch intercooler pump from a mustang. Where did you put the extra rad? I have a W115 manifold, but this would be much more effiecent.. decisions decisions RE: FS/FT 617 integrated A/W intake for W115 intake - kmaser - 03-24-2013 I mounted an extra rad in front of the engine radiator, between it and the grill. I don't have A/C in my G-Wagen so had lots of room, I have seen it done a couple different ways in the cars using an added A/C condenser or custom rad's RE: FS/FT 617 integrated A/W intake for W115 intake - MFSuper90 - 03-24-2013 I am also thinking of ridding my car of th A/C. Do you think it would work using the stock w123 A/C condensor? Sorry for the 20 questions RE: FS/FT 617 integrated A/W intake for W115 intake - Simpler=Better - 03-25-2013 (03-24-2013, 01:50 PM)MFSuper90 I am also thinking of ridding my car of th A/C. Do you think it would work using the stock w123 A/C condensor? The stock 123 condenser is huge I don't see how it wouldn't work. RE: FS/FT 617 integrated A/W intake for W115 intake - kmaser - 03-25-2013 I used a rad smaller than that and it worked for me so I would say that it would. RE: FS/FT 617 integrated A/W intake for W115 intake - MFSuper90 - 03-25-2013 Anymore pics? RE: FS/FT 617 integrated A/W intake for W115 intake - kmaser - 03-25-2013 I have no doubt the condenser would work either and it has a fan already, the condesnor is bigger than the rad I used but I had a thicker rad which is probably less efficient. |
