RE: WTB: Instruement Pod / Cluster to put on A Pillar Molding - Simpler=Better - 03-26-2013 Generic and graft in on there RE: WTB: Instruement Pod / Cluster to put on A Pillar Molding - sassparilla_kid - 03-26-2013 I vote re-engineer the instrument cluster to take smaller gauges, and then add gauges in there. I bet you could fit several more, especially if you got some combination gauges RE: WTB: Instruement Pod / Cluster to put on A Pillar Molding - w123love - 03-27-2013 (03-26-2013, 10:39 PM)sassparilla_kid I vote re-engineer the instrument cluster to take smaller gauges, and then add gauges in there. I bet you could fit several more, especially if you got some combination gauges RE: WTB: Instruement Pod / Cluster to put on A Pillar Molding - Greazzer - 03-27-2013 Hey, got a dumb question. As you can tell, I am learning gauges right now. Do they sell a gauage that bounces around or goes through a certain number of readings. For example, one gauage which does a "sweep" through a few sensors which would reflect tempertrue X, then Y, and then Z, and back to X, Y, Z ... I am wrapping up my new and improved WVO system, and I want a gauge which monitors 3 temps: The grease right before it hits the lift pump, a temp reading as the WVO sits in my 50 plate HE, and a temp gauage for the coolant right before it enters the HE. I want a 3 gauage pod. I wish I could find the damm picture on this forum or somewhere where someone had one and it looked factory. I want 3 gauages on the A pillar. The 2nd gauage is for the motor oil ... same deal with a sweep of temps for varing sensors. 3rd gauage would be for the coolant. I am on the verge of wrapping up a ton of R&D in my DD. Just need to also pester Led-Panzer about some aluminum work. Between college drama, R&D, wife who has a super long honey do list right now, and the list keeps growing ... poop RE: WTB: Instruement Pod / Cluster to put on A Pillar Molding - Simpler=Better - 03-27-2013 I know exactly the gauge pod thread you're talking about, the kid just used a generic pillar pod, hair drier, and fiberglass/bondo to make it work. |
