617.952 engine + transmission for sale from an 85 300DT - 606Power - 06-24-2009
Hi,
For sale is a 617.952 Turbo engine, and transmission from an 85 w123 300DT. Both are still installed in my 50% daily driver (the other 50% of the driving of the week, give or take is with my other car), and will soon be removed once I get the bits allotted for an om606 swap.
There 95K miles on the entire car, and I do not have compression values yet, but I will probably get some soon. The engine and transmission are both very strong, the engine starts well, idles smoothly, and always filled with synthetic oil since under my care. I will take a video of the engine running soon as well.
The transmission, if anyone is interested or needs one, shifts positively and works properly.
I very recently got the om606, so I have not checked the market, and thus have not priced the items for sale. If this is against forum rules, I understand, and I will get some numbers soon.
The items are located in Maryland.

I have a rebuilt om617a in my gwagen, I rebuilt it last summer with new pistons, liners, rebuilt cylinder head, W/A intercooler and an MW injection pump with 6.5mm elements from Tomnik installed. Runs amazing and has great power. My thoughts are turning towards installing an OM606a. If your seriously interested I may sell it.
