More fuel - bruno_pinho - 05-23-2013

hello

I wonder if someone can tell me if I can increase by some to be the debit diminishing return fuel to deposit?
Also read somewhere that sometimes with a electric feed pump could be more indebted fuel.

I'm talking about an electric pump om605 (6mm elements) that have managed to get 260hp and 417nm.

Ola Bruno-
I think there may be an issue with your translation. If you re-post your question in portugues, I (or perhaps someone else!) may be able to figure out what you are asking. I think you are asking about what electric lift pumps will support the power levels you are curious about.

I have difficulty in writing English
my question was

reducing the return fuel from the pump to the tank will have some gain from it?

also read here on the forum that sometimes had better results by connecting a large capacity electric pump before the pump's own engine?

the motor is a electric pump om605 (6mm element)

right now I have 260cv 417nm

No worries, me too! (and I have no excuse!)

To answer your questions:

1) As far as reducing the flow back to the tank, I don't see how that could help anything. I believe that the only way to do that would be restricting flow overall, (buildup back pressure in the fuel system) causing the IP to work harder. Probably not a good idea, but perhaps someone else knows a trick?
reduzindo o fluxo para o tanque ... provavelmente não é uma boa idéia. restringindo o fluxo para o tanque faz com que mais trabalho para a bomba de injeção.

2) There are people here who have bypassed the "lift pump" (small pump on side of IP that takes fuel from first filter and feeds the IP) completely (removed from side of IP and covered with plate) to provide steady flow and pressure to the IP (injection Pump) and have reported improved performance in idle quality using an electric pump. I'd imagine that beyond a certain HP level that would help ensure adequate flow to the IP as well, but I think there are many people using stock lift pump with pretty high power engines... Someone else will hopefully answer as well.

Unless he is talking about stretching the overflow spring on the IP? I did that on my om617 and it helped a ton.
But I do not know if the om603's have that or not..

RE: More fuel - mantahead - 05-24-2013

what is your max rpm?

good

I do not know for sure how many rotations do, because my rev counter does not work since I have the motor om605, my car was a 200d.

but I think I do at least 5500rpm with fuel there
because 260cv are even engine cut
