om606 - boyt - 06-02-2013 Hello its my first post so please be nice Im putting a 606 in my discovery. I know I need a 603 pump. Do the drive cogs get swappedover from pump to pump or does the 603 pump fit strait in. Do I time it up as per 603 or 606. I only want to run a max 250bhp and need the torque low down. What elements do you recommend for the pump. Can I use elements out the 606 pump (do they fit) or any other pump? Look forward to your replys RE: om606 - Druk - 06-02-2013 Which 606? The 962 from a W210? Better with the IP from a 606.910 which is the 24v non-turbo version in a W124. The 6mm elements from the electric pump 962 are a direct fit but you will need an ALDA conversion from DieselMeken or it will underfuel when the turbo is on boost. However, iirc, the 606 turbo only turns 180bhp in standard trim so you'd need a larger turbo and bigger elements to get 250bhp. RE: om606 - boyt - 06-08-2013 Right got my pump storted. Just got to send it off. What turbo for 250bhp. Dont want to go vnt. And I need as little boost lag as possible really. Would the original turbo keep up or not. What boost pressure should I be running Cheers Andy |
