Hello diesel friends.I have problem.My 722.6 automatic gearbox is broke.Second gear kicks.I have W202 200D with 5speed manual gearbox.Can i put this manual gearbox into the W210?

Dimensionally it will fit straight on as will the flywheel and clutch. The shaft will be way short though and the flange is a different size. How are you going to arrange a clutch pedal into a W210?

The output flange PCD on the 722.6 is 10mm (I think) greater diameter than the one on your manual box so you're going to have to do something clever with the shaft.

Just use the front part of the w202 shaft and lengthen it. I guess the splines on the middle joint of the kardanaxle is the same on the w210 and w202. It was the same splines on my w124 E300d with 722.4 and w203 220cdi with 6-speed manual.

Your bigger problem is going to be getting the car to start without the automatic. You will need a idi module from a car that did not have the 722.6 either a stick or the 722.3. Or have it recoded to a stick shift if possible. If none of that works you could add a small CAN module that transmits the correct message to the ecu for neutral safety. Check engine light will still be on but it will work.
