EPC shows liners for OM606 but looking my crankcase today it doesn't look like my engine (606.962) has liners? Just curious - are these repair only?

There is another thread here somewhere asking the same thing. If I remember right the blocks came with or without liners but I can't remember why. Maybe production year related or something.

No liners installed. The block gets machined for liners. I can copy the WIS doc about it tomorrow if you like?
