98 606 Shipping Weight? - zeeman - 09-11-2013
I found a 98 606 on E-bay and need the shipping weight for the shipper. Anyone have any idea? I am thinking 700 - 750lbs. complete. Also need a good shipper from Virginia to Spokane Washington terminal to terminal any ideas?

I just shiped mine, it was 540 lbs wet with alternator and waterpump, belts and pulleys.

I thought it would be heavier then that, it must be the aluminum head that makes the difference.

I got a deal on the engine, caught it when it just came on E-bay. I paid $1250.00 140,000 miles complete with intercooler. He even had a video of the engine running in the car before he pulled it and a verified mileage pic of the speedo. Great guy, doesn't get anybetter.
