What to do when there is no om603 IP - TurboAlex - 09-14-2013 I got a project going on, its a om606 turbo with a MPR turbo, with all the other nessesary upgrades. My big question is why everybody uses mechanical om603 pumps, and not mechanical om606 pumps from w124 and w210 300D for their superturbo projects. Because as far as i know the non turbo versons are mechanical, and the turbo ones are electronic controlled mechanical pumps. I can`t get a hold of a 603 pump for a reasonable price atm, but a mechanical 606 pump i can get "for free". My goal is 400ish hp, and 750-850Nm as a DAILY driver in a w124. Any inputs? RE: What to do when there is no om603 IP - HaavardPYA - 09-14-2013 The 606 mechanical pump is the best pump for converting to bigger elements. But du you happen to know if the pump in the om606.910/912 is the right one? Only mechanical om606 IP? RE: What to do when there is no om603 IP - erling66 - 09-15-2013 You can use a 606 pump from a W124, they are all mechanical and great pumps. All 606 W210 pumps are electrical, so now you know |
