Didn't drill out the stock sender hole enough when I tapped it for the jeep sender and cracked it. Motor is from an 80 300sd 5cyl turbo

Might be able to grab one for you. If I have time tomorrow after I get what I need at pick n pull ill check the cars I saw in Windsor. There was a w123 turbo and a w116 that I think was an SD.

i hope not! there are some people on ebay who want $70 for one! for the whole assembly, granted, but theyre out of their minds.

That's ebay for you... a lot of parts get over priced then you see people trying to sell things on craigslist and the story goes "They're $XXXX on ebay! So this is a good deal.."
Not so much usually... The upull it type yards can be strange to.. some parts are pretty reasonable if not down right cheap, other parts are rediculous! Plus, it all depends on who rings you up and what they want to call the part you're trying to buy.
