Hi everyone,
Anybody knows this turbo Garrett TD04L ?
Will it work in a OM617?
My T3 is is not ok i am searching alternatives to fast spool na low rpm beacuse the engine is instaled in a G300.
This turbo is used in a 2.8 engine iveco van ans its easy to find.

The TD04 is not a Garrett Turbocharger, its made by MHI (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries).
As there are more than 450 different variances of the TD04 family you may post up more detailed informations of which turbo you are talking about.

yes these turbo's are on lots of engines in various forms. Volvo, Subaru and Saab to name a few.

And they are baaaad quality! Don`t support high boost and flow
specially the td04 series...

Not bad for a dirt cheap upgrade though.
I was considering fitting one to my 606 (stock manifold) by fabricating an adapter plate, from research they do flow more than the stock turbo, well more than my OEM KKK K-14 anyway
