Looking for a 603 Engine or good head - zooklm1 - 12-26-2013
I am in Central Florida and in need of a good 603 engine/head for an 87 300D. I am in the process of pulling the engine out of the car due to sever overheating (it has a #14 head and has had the cracked head symptoms for a while). It would be ok if I find a head as I need to remove engine to replace rear seal and reseal the transmission (I know a lot of work). If I can find a good engine, perhaps it would save me on the time to do the seals and R&R the head.
Any help in identifying a good head/engine is greatly appreciated. I would prefer it being in the central florida area to facilitate pickup.
