Washer fluid tank/system installation etc. - dieselsmoke300d - 01-01-2014
Unfortunately my 84 300D has a gasket leak of some sort and coolant is leaking out... Can't fix it now. So I'm gonna get my other car on the road after the tranny is fixed. So when I bought my new 85 300SD I never noticed that it didn't have a washer fluid tank... Or at least I don't see one. So my stupid question for you guys is when I get one, where does it go?? I'll have to find the wire leads for it too. Also does anybody know how the (what I believe to be) heated washer nozzles are wired in? I want to make sure that those are operational too. If someone could snap a picture of their 300SD's set up, that would be awesome.

it goes in the cowl on the RH side firewall huge plastic tank 1 or 2 pumps depending on if it had the headlight wipers or not

Oh, in front of the battery? That would explain the extra space. I've only seen the dual pump ones like on peach parts. I'll probly find the right one in the junkyard. Thanks.
