S10 Air Dam - Tmadia - 02-14-2014 So I ordered an ABS air dam for my brother's '94 S10 Blazer and since he hasn't picked it up I installed it on my '85. It is a 3 or 4 inches too narrow, but if you spread the ends apart it will fit reasonable well. I kinda like it. Super easy to install. It has a flange around the top and I just used some self tappers into the bottom of the bumper. Now I just need to cut a coil or two and it will look pretty good. RE: S10 Air Dam - MFSuper90 - 02-16-2014 I kinda like it as well! Low blow. At least I didn't go Japanese ![]() RE: S10 Air Dam - MFSuper90 - 03-22-2014 Lmao, never paid attention to any Japanese cars. But those, my friend, are hilarious! RE: S10 Air Dam - Druk - 03-22-2014 Nice! And such an unobtrusive oil cooler. ![]() RE: S10 Air Dam - Tmadia - 03-23-2014 Yes, I used 6mm spacers front and rear. I finally got my lift installed in my back yard and am swapping the tranny, which was flaring badly in 3rd and 4th. RE: S10 Air Dam - DeliveryValve - 03-23-2014 (03-23-2014, 11:19 AM)Tmadia Yes, I used 6mm spacers front and rear. I need a lift in my back yard also! But how do you keep the weather elements and airborne dust off it? RE: S10 Air Dam - Tmadia - 03-23-2014 (03-23-2014, 02:26 PM)DeliveryValve(03-23-2014, 11:19 AM)Tmadia Yes, I used 6mm spacers front and rear. You don't. It will weather and not last as long as an indoor lift, but with the Chinese lifts being so cheap, $1600 delivered, I figured it would be worth it. Even if it only last 5 years I feel it will be a very worthwhile investment. RE: S10 Air Dam - JB3 - 03-24-2014 Looks pretty darn good! I wonder if an early dodge dakota air dam would work even better? The are a little wider than the S10. RE: S10 Air Dam - willbhere4u - 03-25-2014 If I had an old Corona or Celica beater I would do this in a heart beat with star exhaust along with chop the top off RE: S10 Air Dam - Tmadia - 03-25-2014 (03-25-2014, 12:07 PM)Purplecomputer it that a bmw 2002 trunk lid i see in the background???
