Exhaust Line - bruno_pinho - 03-03-2014 Hi For a power of between 300.350 hp in a om605, what line of exhaust should I do? 70mm or 76mm? RE: Exhaust Line - Duncansport - 03-03-2014 (03-03-2014, 07:04 AM)bruno_pinho Hi 76mm RE: Exhaust Line - Stamsaas - 03-03-2014 How much is 3" turbo back exhaust taking on a om605 before it needs to be bigger? RE: Exhaust Line - bruno_pinho - 03-03-2014 3"is 76mm ... RE: Exhaust Line - Stamsaas - 03-03-2014 I know that, but i asked how much 3" flowes in power. RE: Exhaust Line - Duncansport - 03-03-2014 (03-03-2014, 10:25 AM)Stamsaas I know that, but i asked how much 3" flowes in power. I know ill catch shit for this...but i think 3 inch with a proper muffler and pipe work is sufficient for 550hp I made 400whp with a gas 4 cylinder (Conquest/Starion) on 2.5 exhaust. RE: Exhaust Line - mantahead - 03-03-2014 i dyno 385bhp on om605 with 3 inch straight through exhaust with shit manifold. RE: Exhaust Line - Stamsaas - 03-03-2014 thanks guys! I ask because I have a problem with the Space, 3" is the biggest I can have past the gearbox, any bigger and I must cut out the floor. I can make the first 50cm or so of the downpipe after turbo in 3,5", if that helps any RE: Exhaust Line - F.R.A.S - 03-04-2014 3" is good enough. You can push a lot of power trough a small pipe. But bigger is better... Build 3" that will work for most power outputs. Just keep the heat in the system for as long as you can to maintain gas velocity. RE: Exhaust Line - EDH_Performance - 03-06-2014 (03-04-2014, 01:32 PM)F.R.A.S 3" is good enough. 3" with muffler is to small in my opinion...I feelt biig diference with and without my straight through muffler |
