Searching for parts for the 722.6 I keep finding minors parts like dipstick, filters, connector plugs etc being listed as also fitting 722.7 & 722.8.
Are these simply transaxle versions of the 722.6 or are they something else altogether?

.7 and .8 are transverse transaxles. They dont really share any parts with the .6
