Hi everybody
Got myself a w124 250d with manual tran. and its reaaally slow! was at the scrapyard the other day and found a 300tdt, bought it today going to get it asap. Anybody know if its just plug and play? A friend of my got a 250d aswell and then he changed the engine to a 300d non turbo. only had to change the mountplate under the transmission and the arms for the gearshifter, same with the turboengine? and my english sucks hope you guys understand, thank you!

AND, how am i gonna re-wire the glowsystem for the 6 sylinder instead of 5?

All parts required are on 300TDT, like 6-cylinder glow relais, engine wiring loom for electronic idle etc. very simple. Also 300TDT has oil cooler in wheel housing, needs some brackets welded on. All on the donor car, you'll see. Donor car = you construction plan

Can i use the old electric idle from the 5 cylinder?
Can I run the engine on 10w40 fully synthetic oil?Thanks for answers
