electronic pump 7.5mm elements - 97e300 - 07-01-2014

Considering getting 7.5mm elements for an electronic pump. I know the governor is electronic, but is there any reason the job would not be DIY?

same as with other pumps. rack position and injection amount need to be calibrated, but go for it.
u can calibrate them the same way the old timers use to do on trucks.
assemble the pump, measure fuel injection at injectors (one minute each) remove the access port on the side , increase or decrease the position on the plunger holder against the rack.
all this with the engine running. they usually had success Smile

For super budget, the engine would work.

But really, the c£500 for fit and balance should be invested.
