OM606.962 - TB70 - Boost Problem - DaimlerDK - 08-23-2014
Hello,
I have a big Problem, I built an OM606.962 in my W124.... Motor & Gearbox works fine, but I have no boost....
Its an TB70 from Turbobandit with external Wastegate... Wastegate closed... I cut the pressure from Turbo to the Wastegate, and tested, but no boost, maximum 0.2 bar
Can anybody help me?

Sorry to hear you struggle!
What modifications have been made to the Injection Pump (IP)? Increased fueling is required to push the exhaust turbine up to speed and get full boost.
Are you using an intercooler? Sometimes they leak. Also, using one that doesn't leak and gets good airflow will help.

I solved the Problem.... Big Leak in the Intake Manifold ;-)
