Does the om617 starter engage the Toyota flywheel properly? How thick of an adapter plate is it designed for? Is this a one off or are you selling multiple kits? Thanks in advance. The adapter plate is 1/2" thick, it uses the Toyota flywheel and starter in the stock location. I used a 2kw Tacoma cold weather starter which I adapted for the added torque for the diesel and a turbo 22r flywheel for a bigger clutch which I got from Marvin Crawler. I ended up using a different radiator so I didn't use the brackets I had purchased and just used the adapter plate. I had an extra flywheel adapter made for a pattern. All this was bought from TD Swaps in Portland Oregon. Enclosed are some pics of the Toyota truck I am finishing with an added intercooler.
