6spd manual list, pdf - raidaru - 12-25-2014
As you can see in the atachment, there are plenty of 716.6xx trannys, let's hear everyone's experience with these boxes and try to solve the number misterys. Johann used 716.654 box on his STD w124 succesfully. So are the higher numbers better or not?

IN Metric
1, from motor flange to gearshift ?
2, from motor flange to utput flange ? (without the rubber ring)

I measured 53 cm at my 716.641 from 270cdi,

so its about the same as a 5spd ? if im not totally wrong my 717.460 is about 50cm~

Hi,
the "normal" 5-Speed (717.411 etc..) are shorter.
My 717.430 (190D 2,5 Turbo 5-Speed) ist about 48 cm
The 717.450 (Dogleg from m104 3.0 24V) ist about 53 cm
