Same shit as all Chinese gauges. Just more expensive.

It will probably work for you though. I have used quite a lot of this cheap stuff and it usually works just fine.

Go onto ebay and look for aircraft pyrometers, they're usually pretty cheap.
Probes are just cheap high temp K-type thermocouples. You can even use the thermocouple from a water heater or furnace.
