Re: manual conversion for a SDL? - GREASY_BEAST - 09-14-2008 these guys claim to have one http://www.4x4labs.com/ Re: manual conversion for a SDL? - ForcedInduction - 09-15-2008 Expect to spend $500-1000 if you want somebody to make you an adapter and flywheel that will work. There are plenty of common MB 5-speeds that will bolt straight to your engine from a 190D. Re: manual conversion for a SDL? - cannonballSDL - 09-17-2008 GREASY_BEAST these guys claim to have oneo rly! thats kinda what in looking for... but the 617 haz a different bolt patteren then the 603 right? hey FI, the 190d haz a straight bolt of to the 603? if so thats awsome! could i use a pedal box from the 240 in the sdl? Re: manual conversion for a SDL? - ForcedInduction - 09-18-2008 Yes, the OM60x series share the same bolt pattern. The 190D 2.2 and 2.5 models were common with 4 and 5 speeds. Unfortunately those won't bolt to the OM61x series. I don't see any reason why you couldn't use a 240D master cylinder. The primary difference between the trannys in the W123/W201 is the starter location. Re: manual conversion for a SDL? - cannonballSDL - 09-19-2008 i would rather have a cable clutch, but if the pedal box isent a fit that could suck... but both ways i found a 5 speed and im happy! |
