i need an hx30 downpipe - Whizbang - 03-30-2015
attaching something to the back of this holset has become thr largest pain on earth. Before i go getting a fab your own outlet thing, anyone have an image of the stock downpipe? Better still.... a stock dp for sale. This is the last thing keeping the car from running.

I welded a piece of pipe onto
The turbo then onto that support bracket that the downpipe bolts to. If I had more time I probably would have built my own 3" downpipe

??? A downpipe is just a pipe. It's like the most easy thing to fabricate ever. Just buy some 3" pipe in the hardware store... Am I misunderstanding something here? What are you asking?

I was thinking the same thing, just buy 3inch diameter or whatever pipe needed and same diameter v band flange+clamp
Weld them togheter and you have your own custom downpipe.

Straight bit, bend, straight bit, bend, longer straight bit, bend..
