Resistor Mod + Pressure increase - Repetitio - 04-09-2015 Hi, what Power can I expect of a W202 250 TD if i do the resistor mod and increase the turbo pressure? RE: Resistor Mod + Pressure increase - svenr - 04-09-2015 (04-09-2015, 05:17 AM)Repetitio Hi, Do not rise turbo boost with stock turbo, you can do the resistor mod it will give nice punch of power. Get rid of catalysator and free up exhaust, do resistor mod, from healty engine you are able to get up to 175 hp. RE: Resistor Mod + Pressure increase - Repetitio - 04-09-2015 ok, why not increase the turbo pressure? just wondering^^ RE: Resistor Mod + Pressure increase - Booster - 04-09-2015 (04-09-2015, 12:54 PM)Repetitio ok, why not increase the turbo pressure? just wondering^^ I don't think the standard one is up to much more than it does as standard. Iv got the resistor mod + much bigger turbo... Feels great the first time you drive it. Then you realise you need a modded pump. RE: Resistor Mod + Pressure increase - Repetitio - 04-09-2015 yea well i want to get a bigger turbo and remap the ecu, just wondering if i could do a "instant tune" but if it´s not worth it i will wait until i get my bigger turbo Thanks guys RE: Resistor Mod + Pressure increase - Booster - 04-09-2015 I have asked a few people, can't find a decent om605 tune with bigger elements, raised rev limit etc. I'd keep the edc pump if I could get a good "off the shelf tune" but I do have a few options to explore if they work out I will share with everyone as people I'm sure would keep edc pump if it was a bit more simple / cost effective RE: Resistor Mod + Pressure increase - Hario' - 04-10-2015 Booster what have your contacts been saying regarding the tune they can offer on the W202? I presume you post them your ECU? And what sort of prices have you been getting? Because a £500 element fit & balance along with a tune costing the same would make me go to a mechanical pump which I can at least use in a different vehicle in the future.. RE: Resistor Mod + Pressure increase - svenr - 04-10-2015 (04-09-2015, 02:28 PM)Repetitio yea well i want to get a bigger turbo and remap the ecu, just wondering if i could do a "instant tune" but if it´s not worth it i will wait until i get my bigger turbo Thanks guys Its the best instant tune you can get and its gonna cost you a cents... I think its a wort of trying, after this you can mod your ecu and upgrade turbo.... and clutch if you have one. RE: Resistor Mod + Pressure increase - Booster - 04-11-2015 (04-10-2015, 05:22 AM)Hario Booster what have your contacts been saying regarding the tune they can offer on the W202? Including buying the elements its looking around £500, But its in the uk. The tune won't cost £500 but at the same time they might not be able to do what I am after. The other option is bruno_pinho might be selling a tuned file sometime soon. Cool let us know how that goes, I want to do the same thing in the not too distant future with my C300 creation |
