Feeler: 606 Flanges - Simpler=Better - 04-22-2015 What would y'all pay for a 1/2" mild steel 606 header flange? What about a 3/8" stainless one? RE: Feeler: 606 Flanges - Simpler=Better - 04-23-2015 (04-22-2015, 01:55 PM)Simpler=Better What would y'all pay for a 1/2" mild steel 606 header flange? Looks like 1/2" mild steel would be around ~$110 shipped CONUS and 3/8" 316SS would run ~$140 shipped CONUS Any interest? I'd need 4 people who want one before setup time would be worth it RE: Feeler: 606 Flanges - Booster - 04-25-2015 When they can be got online for 48 Euro plus postage in the same mild steel, seems a bit pointless?? Got to be much cheaper I think... http://shop.elbe.ee/index.php/engine-parts/flanges/exhaust/om606.html RE: Feeler: 606 Flanges - Simpler=Better - 04-25-2015 (04-25-2015, 02:16 PM)Booster When they can be got online for 48 Euro plus postage in the same mild steel, seems a bit pointless?? Thanks! That is exactly why I ask before I starting wasting time RE: Feeler: 606 Flanges - Booster - 04-26-2015 (04-25-2015, 07:45 PM)Simpler=Better(04-25-2015, 02:16 PM)Booster When they can be got online for 48 Euro plus postage in the same mild steel, seems a bit pointless?? Yeh, but if people didn't keep offering no one would make anything! Someone needs to produce the cone-round tube for home made manifolds though? RE: Feeler: 606 Flanges - raysorenson - 04-26-2015 The cone tubes are just smushed pipe transitions. But where can somone buy them out the box at a sensible price?? You can make them buy smashing them in a vise or hitting with a hammer. There's a couple build threads on here, it's pretty straightforward how to make them by hand. Wouldn't really be worth making dies($$$) & stamping them unless people wanted to pay $20+ for each transition pipe. |
